Women Who (Still) Love Cats Too Much

Share

If you’re a person (like me) who keeps a lint brush in your desk drawer, catnip in your pocket, and extra bags of cat food in your car (in case you see a hungry stray), you’re going to really enjoy the newest book from Allia Zobel Nolan.

Those of us who love cats tend to focus our lives around felines. We “catify” the living room (so our cats feel more at home), we color coordinate our clothing with the cat’s fur, and we purchase fifteen brands of food until we find one they enjoy – then start all over with the purchases as soon as it seems like they aren’t enjoying it anymore.

Let’s face it – cats are hard to please and it can take a lot of time to win over the affection of our finicky felines. Allia Zobel Nolan, an internationally-published, award-winning author has written a book devoted to those of us who put our cats happiness above our own. It’s called Women Who Still Love Cats Too Much and just like all of her books, it’s a fun read filled with adorable illustrations.

For those of you who don’t know Zobel, allow me to introduce you to her. She’s a talented author with over 170 children’s and adult trade titles under her belt, which equates to over three million books in print. She’s witty, loves animals, and effectively sums up the lives of those with cats in a humorous way.

For those who are still in denial about your feline addiction, rest assured that this book holds plenty of humorous material for you as well.

Women Who Love Cats Too Much is illustrated by the talented Sylvia cartoonist, Nicole Hollander. Her illustrations purrfectly capture the typical expressions we see in cats. This is a great gift-book that any cat lover will enjoy!

Zobel Nolan lives and writes in Connecticut with her husband, Desmond Finbarr Nolan, and their three feline children, Sinead, McDuff, and Angela.
